Roughly 300 migrants are in Albuquerque waiting to be processed.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, 300 men, women and children were bused to Albuquerque on Sunday to stay at hotels while they are processed. The men, women and children will then be sent around the country to stay with families or sponsors while waiting for formal hearings.
This comes as an organization in El Paso said they didn’t have the room at their facility to house the migrants.
There is no word on how long the process will take.
