LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – There’s now a $25,000 reward to solve what’s known as the 1990 Las Cruces bowling alley massacre. Twenty-five years ago two armed men walked into the bowling alley through an unlocked door as it was preparing to open, shooting seven people and killing four including a 2-year-old and her 6-year-old sister.
The men took about $5,000 from the safe. They shot the victims execution style before setting the office on fire.
Until now the reward was only $1,000. Las Cruces Crimestoppers hopes the new $25,000 reward will generate new leads.
