Deputies arrested two people for shooting and killing a teen during a road rage incident in the South Valley.

The shooting happened near Coors and Gun Club last month.

Deputies say 16-year-old Efrain Arzate Jr. was shot while sitting in the back of a silver Dodge Charger.

Monday, they arrested 19-year-old Alexis Rogers and 16-year-old Damian Luna.

Deputies say Rodgers was the driver, and Luna shot the victim after the car he was in cut them off.

Investigators say Rodgers’ mother gave her $1,000 after the shooting to leave town.

Rogers is expected to appear before a judge Tuesday afternoon.
