The Albuquerque Speech, Language and Hearing Center is celebrating 65 years of providing hearing and speech services to New Mexicans.
It’ll have a gala fundraiser event on Saturday, August 25 at 6 p.m.
ASLHC is the only non-profit of its kind in New Mexico providing technologically advanced hearing aids to all patients, including those of low-income.
ASLHC utilizes the proceeds from its private pay clients to provide treatment to those who have no, or inadequate insurance and cannot afford proper treatment.
ASLHC can purchase high tech hearing aids with proceeds from the live and silent auctions at the gala event. The gala is a chance to dress up in formal wear, have a nice dinner, and bid on some high-end auction items.
