Francesca Washington comes to Albuquerque from Dallas, Texas.

She joined the KRQE news team in October 2017 as a multimedia journalist.

Francesca is passionate about journalism because it gives her the opportunity to meet new people every day and tell stories that may not be heard otherwise.

Francesca started her career in Lufkin, Texas. While there she spent two years as a multimedia journalist at KTRE-TV. In June of 2014 she joined the East Texas News Team at KLTV 7 in Tyler, Texas where she was a a multimedia journalist for three years.

Outside of the newsroom, Francesca loves watching and playing sports. Her favorite team is the New England Patriots Her other hobbies include singing, dancing, theater, reading, Olympic lifting and spending time with friends and family.

He used his key fob to set off his car horn, to scare away whatever was in his garage. When he went outside, he saw a bear and two cubs that had been trying to get into his mudroom.
