Timeline: 6 months of Coronavirus in New Mexico

The coronavirus, which surfaced late last year in Wuhan, China, has spread to at least 177 countries, killing more than 610,000 and sickening more than 14.7 million in a matter of months. New Mexico’s first cases were announced on March 11, 2020. Since then, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has issued a public health order to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
