When 60% of eligible New Mexicans have been fully vaccinated, the state will graduate out of the color-coded county risk system and remove most pandemic-related restrictions on commercial activities. Under the most recent public health order, the state is now ordering all counties to operate in the Turquoise framework, regardless of if they’re meeting two of the three COVID-related criteria.

New Mexico is one of the states among the top in the nation when it comes to vaccine distribution.

State reports to CDC can be delayed up to 72 hours after dose administration. Doses distributed and people initiating vaccination (1st dose) are for both Moderna and Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. Doses distributed are cumulative counts recorded as shipped in the CDC Vaccine Tracking System since Dec. 13, 2020. Data updates on weekdays.
