TAO Drummers Take to the Stage

There’s a great weekend of entertainment, creativity and conservation ahead of us, and our ABQ to do crew is Breaks it all down.

The Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire is a two-day, family-friendly event that focus on creativity, invention and resourcefulness (Earth Day) and a celebration of the Maker Movement. 

The outdoor Faire will feature makers that range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, poets, students, authors and more! There’s plenty of activities including a dancing flame. Attendees can step on a musical keyboard and watch the flame dance.

Twenty-seven TAO drummers take the stage in this spectacular tour de force, Drum Heart. After years of strenuous training in both traditional Japanese drumming and martial arts, TAO drummers meld fighting precision with fiery rhythm. With eye-popping colors and choreography, Drum Heart promises an unforgettable evening of pulsating excitement.

Outdoor activities this weekend to celebrate Earth Day are happening all over the county.

beautiful interrelations in the world around and how
communities can study climate change.
