The “Ride to Honor” motorcycle ride is held each year by the Albuquerque chapter of the New Mexico Buffalo Soldiers motorcycle club.
The event honors the three buffalo soldiers whose remains were first identified at Fort Craig in 2007 then reinterred in 2009 and now buried in the Santa Fe Cemetery.
The “Ride to Honor” pays respect to all veterans, who have served the country from all branches of the military.
The motorcycle club will ride from the Veterans Memorial Park in Albuquerque to the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Registration begins at 8:30 Saturday morning at 1100 Lousiana Blvd. SE in Albuquerque.
