Next month winners of the New Mexico Natural History and Science Foundation’s video contest “Brainy Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” will be announced. It’s a project involving students from grades 4-8 that showcase science, technology, engineering, art and science.
The foundation has been looking for small groups and classrooms to show their creativity, innovation, and the Genius of New Mexico STEAM students. Their mission, create a 2-3 minute video showcasing the integration of science to compete for prizes.
The first annual student video conducted last year was based on the exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci and his “ability to combine art, science, technology, the humanities and imagination as an enduring recipe for creativity”, as quoted by Walter Isaacson.
