Have an outstanding bench warrant for a traffic violation? Now’s the best time to take care of it.
Metro Court will be hosting a ‘Safe Surrender’ this weekend for persons with outstanding bench warrants for traffic violations and minor incidents. Individuals can simply show up at the Barelas Community Center Friday October 14th from 11am to 7pm, or Saturday October 15th from 10am to 5pm and speak with the judge on-site to address their issues.
The program offers an opportunity to pay fines, set up payment options or re-schedule missed court appearances without fear of arrest.
