Local Program Helps former Women Inmates Transition back into Society

A gala fundraiser offers big prizes for people who attend the festivities designed to raise money for a program that helps former female inmates adjust back to society.

The gala will take place from April 28 at11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Albuquerque Marriott and will include lunch, raffle prizes which include $1,000 cash for first prize, Fish Enchantment Guides full-day fishing trip for two at Bluewater Lake as the second prize; and a $200 cash prize. Tickets for the gala are $45 each or $425 for a table of ten. Raffle tickets will be available for sale at $10 each or six for $50.

A silent auction will also be available at the event and will include auction items such as jewelry, gift certificates, themed baskets, art and other items. We will also hear testimonials from a woman who graduated the APH program, along with guest speakers including author Denise Seavey, Mr. O.C. Fero and former Secretary of State Dianna Duran.
