Did you know that nearly 10 percent of the U.S. population has diabetes? Many don’t even know they have it.

The CDC reports that those with diabetes totals more than 30 million people, and a whopping 84 million people have pre-diabetes.

Nutritionist Dr. Stevie DuJuan Springer appeared on New Mexico Living cooking some tasty treats.
