Living

People who knew the man who founded Joy Junction, Dr.Jeremy Reynalds, are vowing to carry on his legacy to help the homeless.

Doctor Reynalds passed away last week after a long-term illness.

He had a huge impact on the community.

Reynalds founded Joy Junction in 1986 and focused on sheltering and serving homeless families throughout the city.

Bill Anderson, V.P., & General Manager of KRQE Media Group says the station will open its phone bank between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday afternoon to benefit Joy Junction.

That phone number is 1-877-715-7400.
