Bookworks Relaunches its Teen Book Club


Bookworks has relaunched its teen book club and begun taking nationally touring middle grade and young adult authors to visit Albuquerque schools.

There will be a panel on stories from undocumented youth with author Susan Kuklin, author of WE ARE HERE TO STAY.

There will also be a panel discussion with Santa Fe Dreamers Project & NM Immigrant Law Center. JAN 26.

DRAGON GHOSTS NYT BEST-SELLING fantasy author Lisa McMann visits schools and our store. FEB 6.

ABQ author Vaunda Nelson has a new book coming out LET ER BUCK, about black cowboy champion George Fletcher ages 8-12 FEB 21.

Poetry Out Loud, a state competition of student poets from Volcano Vista, La Cueva, Native America Community Academy, and Bosque School will be doing a preview at Bookworks on FEB 24.
