Animal Humane NM shows off the Pet of the Week and discuss Foster Care

Living

Animal Humane of New Mexico visited the set of New Mexico Living to show off Moira, a sweet seven and a half-year-old mix.  A loving cuddler, Moira has lived with a family and gets along with small children. A mellow and independentendant pup, she is available for adoption at Animal Humane’s main campus at 615 Virginia Street SE in Albuquerque.

Animal Humane of New Mexico strives to provide proper care, nutrition, socialization and medical assistance to all Foster Care pets that allows the animals to grow into adoptable, and well-adjusted pets.

Through Foster Care, you can:

  • Observe the development of playful kittens and puppies with your family.
  • Help your children learn the important responsibilities of pet ownership.
  • Nurse sick or injured pets back to health so they can live full and happy lives.
  • Experience the joy of bottle-feeding puppies and kittens.
  • Provide nourishment and enrichment to puppies and kittens through the first few developmental months of their lives.

If you are interested in the program, visit Animal Humane New Mexico’s website for complete information on Foster Care.
