This year’s celebration will feature a concert by a leading bluesman who has a very special connection to the history of jazz music in Albuquerque. Eric Bibb, a Grammy-nominated guitarist and singer, whose career spans more than five decades, is the nephew of famed composer and jazz pianist, John Lewis, who grew up in Albuquerque and is the person for whom the annual celebration is named.
