ABQ TO DO has some family fun events from pumpkin carving, and the play Wicked, to the Sugar Skull Fun Run.
The Balloon Museum kicks off Halloween festivities with BOO-lloon Mania. This is a free, family-friendly event with activities that include story time, music, pumpkin carving, BOO-luminaria decorating, trick or treating throughout the museum, and much more.
Upstairs on the 2nd floor of the museum, there will be a scarier experience for the older guests.
Costumes are encouraged!

Participants can register for the 5k or 10k fun runs. The race route will follow the Bosque Trail south toward Rio Bravo Boulevard. Walkers and pets are also welcome to participate.
Online registration is now closed. Walk-up registration begins at 8 a.m. on race day, Sunday, Oct. 28 -- $40 for adults and children. Credit cards or check only, no cash. Check-in and packet pickup for registered participants also begins at 8 a.m. on race day.
Additional activities planned for the event are Dia de los Muertos face painters, artisans, food trucks and music.
Jumpstart the Halloween and Dia de los Muertos season with this fun run -- plan to arrive early and dress to impress.
Proceeds from the fun run will benefit the BernCo Quality of Life Community Fund.
The BernCo Quality of Life Community Fund is similar to a foundation; it allows individuals to make tax-exempt donations to the county to support events, such as this fun run and other activities, that are currently funded out of the county’s general operations budget.
