Joy Junction has launched a community-wide project to finance its new apartment complex that will provide shelter to those who are homeless in the Albuquerque area.
It is “Building a Better Tomorrow” for those in need, by providing meals, emergency shelter, and life recovery to break the cycle of homelessness (individuals and families).
Joy Junction has been 100 percent funded by donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations since we were founded in 1986 – no tax dollars are used.
To this point, Joy Junction has been completely built and funded by the community, and it believes the new apartments will be fully paid in the same way. But, Joy Junction needs the help of the community to accomplish this (to reduce the need for long-term financing).
This will allow it to invest more into transforming the lives of the homeless and hungry people who need it most.
