The Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court has a new program, Community Veteran Court, designed to help veterans who may be facing a misdemeanor criminal charge.
Judge Sandra Engel from the Community Veteran Court joined New Mexico living to explain the ins and outs of the program. The program is open to assist veterans who are in the metro court system, and those who want to volunteer as a veteran mentor.
