Easter Safety goes Hand in Hand

FOX New Mexico

Easter is approaching, and there are some precautions to be taken when it comes to eggs and animals such as chicks and rabbits.

Properly washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with warm, soapy water is crucial after handling animals and before coming into contact with food.

Make sure to use a food grade dye when decorating eggs, that way they are safe to eat.

Never consume eggs that have been out of the refrigerator for more than two hours.
