Celebrate Mother’s Day with music, discovery stations and the fun of the ABQ BioPark Zoo
Beginning at 10 a.m., Zoo Mom’s Discovery Stations will be spread throughout the Zoo. There will be special ape activities from MOM (Missing Orangutan Mothers Outreach) and at 2 p.m., there will be a special concert from the New Mexico Philharmonic.
Guests are welcome to bring blankets or chairs and picnics. Food and drink available for purchase.
Mother’s Day concert is included with regular admission: $10 for NM resident adults, $5 for children. The event takes place May 13 from 10:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m.
Les Misérables will be at Popejoy Hall. It is a Broadway performance that is set against the backdrop of France during the 19th century. Les Mis tells an unforgettable story of heartbreak, passion and the resilience of the human spirit. The performance features hit songs including I Dreamed A Dream, On My Own, Stars, Bring Him Home, One Day More and many more.

Bernalillo County is kicking off a new speaker series, New Mexico Land and People.
Anne Hillerman is delighted to continue the mystery series her father, the best-selling author Tony Hillerman, created beginning in 1970.
Anne’s debut novel, Spider Woman’s Daughter, follows the further adventures of the characters he made famous: Jim Chee, Joe Leaphorn and Bernadette Manuelito.
This event is free, but registration is required.
