Multimedia Reporter
Marilyn joins the KRQE team as a Multimedia Journalist.
She’s from Albuquerque and graduated with honors from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico, where she earned her bachelor of science in communication.
Marilyn is passionate about sharing information and facts with the public. She has earned multiple awards, including New Mexico Broadcaster’s Association Student Reporter of the year in 2021. She also had the opportunity to become a Television Academy Foundation News Fellow.
In her free time, she loves exploring the wide open spaces of New Mexico, horseback riding, and hiking. She is excited to join the KRQE team and serve New Mexico through local journalism.
