Tour the Historic KiMo Theater

Always On

Looking for a good fright this Halloween with a little bit of history added in? The KiMo Theater is the perfect place for you.

The 90-year-old theater in downtown Albuquerque is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young boy.

It was during a show in 1951 that 6-year-old Bobby Darnall lost his life when a boiler at the KiMo exploded as he was making his way down the theater’s stairs.

The KiMo is offering tours of the theater all this month. A tour guide will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the spooky and dark legends of the theater. For ticket information, click here.
