The city wants to hear from you about what to do with a problem area along San Mateo.
A few years ago, the city tore down an abandoned strip mall at San Mateo and Kathryn that had become a magnet for crime.
Since then it’s been an empty lot.
There are plans to build a new APD substation there, but the city wants to know what other ideas people have, anything from a new skate park, soccer fields or more green space.
They’re holding a public meeting Saturday at the Cesar Chavez Community Center from 1-3 p.m.
