Family Hosts Christmas Display, Collects Donations for the Homeless

Always On

An Albuquerque man who has hosted an extravagant Christmas display for more than a decade says the donations he asked for keep coming in.

People can stop to see the lights at David McCutcheon’s home near Indian School and Juan Tabo, and even take pictures with Santa Claus.

This year, the family wanted to do something different. McCutcheon set out a donation box and asked people to drop off a hat or scarf.

McCutcheon says since KRQE News 13 aired his story, his donation box has been filled at least eight times.

McCutcheon’s address is 12204 Pineridge Avenue NE.
