A newly designated historic site in New Mexico is inviting visitors to come and check it out.
Los Luceros Ranch north of Espanola is a place to experience 18th century New Mexico, featuring an old ranch house and chapel, even the original village jail. The legislature officially named it a historic site this year.
Los Luceros is holding a day of lectures, demonstrations and arts-and-crafts, followed by a traditional pueblo dinner on May 25. The event is free, but does require registration.
