A New Mexico museum is inviting local students to channel their inner Da Vinci.
The Museum of Natural History and Science is holding a contest, challenging students to create a short video integrating science and the arts.
It’s in honor of artist and inventor Leonardo Da Vinci, the subject of the museum’s current interactive exhibit “Da Vinci, The Genius,” which opened last month.
That exhibit has proved wildly popular, drawing 50-percent more museum visitors during its first few weeks than during the same period last year.
Students have until May 1 to submit their videos.
