Richard Fox, 28, faced a judge Saturday charged with abuse of a child.
According to a criminal complaint Fox got into a crash on Paseo del Norte and Eagle Ranch. When officers arrived they say he reeked of booze and had bloodshot watery eyes.
Police say Fox's 11-year-old brother was in the car too. He was not injured.
Police arrested Fox after he failed field sobriety tests.
