HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) - Two brothers in Hobbs were arrested Sunday night after police say one of the brothers opened fire on a neighbor’s family get-together.
Both 27-year-old Noel Cano and his brother, 25-year-old Reydecel Cano, were in court Sunday for numerous offenses.
According to police the brothers got into an altercation with a neighbor over music they were playing.
That's when the victim says Reydecel pulled out a gun, handed it to his brother Noel and fired four shots in the air, then pointed it at the victim.
When police arrived the brothers tried to run but police caught up with them.
