ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - There was a lot going on Wednesday regarding the Lobos and head Coach Steve Alford's new 10 year contract.
Coach Steve Alford is the big news after agreeing to a deal that will keep him through the 2022-2023 season. Alford's new deal comes with a $240,000 increase to his base salary, putting him at $1.24 million per season.
Alford's new deal is packed with new incentives.

- Tournament championship $50,000
- Ncaa sweet 16 $60,000
- Elite 8 $75,000
- Final four $125,000
- Victory over top 25 team $15,000
