ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - All eyes have been on the Cleveland HS track & field program heading into the State Championships, and on championship Saturday the 5A Storm show why. On the Boys side the Storm blew past the field, meanwhile on the Girls side, it looked to be a two horse race between Cleveland and La Cueva. The Storm led for the majority of the meet however a disqualification in the 4x4 costs them the state title. La Cueva grabs the hardware, meanwhile Eldorado finishes in 2nd place. 3A-5A State Champions (Team).
