SEATTLE (AP) — A dead candidate is the only name on the ballot for a seat on the commission for King County Water District No. 54 in Des Moines.
The Seattle Times reports (http://bit.ly/17NT4GO) 63-year-old John Rosentangle died of an illness in August — too late for his name to be removed from the Nov. 5 general election.
District officials hope a write-in candidate wins.
