ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - New Mexico Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham is shedding her work clothes for a softball uniform.
Lujan Grisham practiced with the Albuquerque Isotopes Sunday, to prepare for a game with the congressional women's softball team.
The team will battle female members of the Washington Press Corps later this week and Lujan Grisham is serious about being prepared.
"That's probably the thing I do the best is hit," Lujan Grisham said. "Oh my weaknesses are threatening…I've got a little bit of a wild arm."
The game is scheduled for this Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
