Local psychologist arrested for holding alleged stalker at gunpoint

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) - A local psychologist was arrested after holding a man he says is stalking him at gunpoint.

It happened Wednesday when 65-year-old William Hunt of Albuquerque forced another driver to pull over on I-25 near Santa Fe.

The driver says Hunt followed him for several miles before he stopped to dial 911.

When police arrived, Hunt was pointing a gun at the driver's head. Officers arrested him.

Police say Hunt believes the driver is a member of a group that has stalked him for years.

Hunt has filed multiple police reports to different agencies about his alleged stalkers.
