ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- With prom right around the corner, it's time to finalize the end look.
The dress is paid for and tailored; the shoes are broken in, the boutonniere is ordered, now time to figure out how to wear your hair and make-up.
Jacqueline Chavez and Patrisha Medrano joined the KRQE's This Morning team to help with ideas for choosing the right look for prom.
There are tricks and tips on creating the natural look, while still looking ready for the day.
Chavez, a professional make-up artist, suggests using a little bit of rouge on the cheek bones and a bit of color on the eye lids that will make the eye color pop. Using a small amount of color on her lips, close to the natural color or only one to shades darker of the lips will help to make all facial features pop.
For a bolder look, by keeping a lighter shade of color on the inside of the eye lid and bringing a darker shade, possibly to match the color of the dress, will help to make that done up look and make eyes look bigger.
