Local kid rock group uses musical skills to raise money for charity

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Local kid rockers demonstrate their musical talent in support of charities.

What they lack in years, they make up for with ambition to help the needy; and they are achieving great results.

Local Youth group Sonyk Vortex is rich in talent and compassion, and the young members demonstrated it by performing an acoustic jam in support of an upcoming fundraising event for Good Shepherd Center.

The band often performs to support local charities, including Kids Supporting Kids and NMDOG, among others.  You can catch their performance live this Saturday, March 17 at the Good Shepherd Center's St. Patty's Day event.
