ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The elephant calf born at the zoo earlier this month now has a name.
Facebook fans and zoo visitors decided on Jazmine, or Jazzy for short.
Zoo officials say the name is appropriate because it carries on a flower tradition. Jazmine's mom is Rozie and her sister is Daizy.
The public has been able to see Jazmine for a few hours each day.
A baby shower will be held for her Nov. 2 at the zoo.
