ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A young woman is dead after being trapped inside an SUV following a bad crash overnight..
It happened at San Mateo and Central.
According to witnesses, two vehicles were involved. The SUV, driven by Haley Slade, 20, was speeding when it ran the light and slammed into a car going east on central.
Slade was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed northbound San Mateo and both directions of Central while they investigated.
The person in the other car was not injured.
