ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A second alarm brought additional firefighters and apparatus to an Albuquerque storage facility Wednesday night as the blaze spread through multiple units.
The fire in 700 block of Candelaria Road NE was reported just before 7 p.m. The second alarm was called out about 30 minutes later.
Shortly after 10 p.m. the Albuquerque Fire Department reported three storage units had been destroyed. AFD units were expected to remain on the scene overnight.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Initial reports indicate mattresses and cleaning supplies caught in one unit, and the flames spread to others.
