ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man suspected in a string of armed robberies around Albuquerque has been captured.
APD say a Crime Stoppers tip helped identify 45-year-old Kenneth Culwell.
They say he's the man seen in surveillance photos after holding up three businesses near Lomas and Broadway last week.
Today police say Culwell robbed the Coffee Shop on Second Street near Lomas but an employee's son chased after him.
The man tackled Culwell, then other witnesses helped hold him down until officers arrived.
He's now facing charges for at least five armed robberies.
