ARTESIA, N.M. (KRQE) - Alcohol is believed to be a factor in an overnight crash that left a woman dead.
The crash happened on U.S. 285 in Artesia just after 1:30 Sunday morning.
State police say 20-year-old Marisela Arujo over-corrected her pick-up truck.
That caused the truck to roll several times.
Arujo was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe Araujo had been drinking.
