What do you get when you combine an Angry Bird, Snow White and a wizard? Special shapes at this year's Balloon Fiesta.
The wizard will be just one of 11 new balloons.
Snow White will be coming all the way from the U.K. and Peg Leg Pete, the big green parrot, from Illinois.
And then you have a hummingbird, a brand-new balloon right out of the box.
And a scuba diver who is coming from Brazil.
Overall, there should be nearly 97 special shapes which would make it the largest gathering of special shapes in the world.
“This year, we have a total of 550 balloons,” said Balloon Fiesta Event Director Don Edwards. “Those are regular balloons and the shape balloons, but of those 550, 97 of them will be special shapes.”
Fiesta runs Oct. 5-13.
