ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - If you live in Albuquerque and you have not gotten your blue recycling bin just yet, the city says it's on the way.
Albuquerque's Solid Waste Department says it may look like the bins are going out randomly but it is all part of a plan.
The new recycling program started in May and when it's all set up, nearly 190,000 homes will have a recycling bin.
So depending on where you live you may not get your recycling bin until October.
“We try to do it in a safe manner and cost-effective. So it does take some time," Bobby Sisnerso said.
You should get a letter in the mail about a month before you get your bin.
If you haven't gotten that letter yet, it means your bin is coming in October.
