SANTA FE (KRQE) - The New Mexico Department of Health announced the first flu case of the season.
A 60-year-old man from Bernalillo County has come down with the flu, and it's earlier than usual, the DOH reported Tuesday.
Last year the first case was reported in November.
Health officials recommend everyone six months and older get a flu shot.
