ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque is getting some new luxury apartments and the building project is bringing jobs with it.
The president of local company Titan Development says construction is expected to begin in early October.
The Broadstone Cottonwood apartments will be located on Albuquerque's west side between Intel in Rio Rancho and the Cottonwood area of Albuquerque.
The average rent per month will be about $1,100 a month for a 1,000-square-foot apartment.
The company also wants to build high-end apartments near I-25 and the Journal Center.
The work between the two projects will create about 700 jobs.
