ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Some wounded warriors are about to get some help.
The New Mexico American Legion Riders left Albuquerque Monday with the donations it's collected over the last year.
They're headed to San Antonio and Brooke Army Medical Center where wounded warriors are treated.
The donations are used to buy personal items for the troops that they need during their recovery.
Many of the items and money were gathered during an august phone bank at KRQE.
