ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Engine failure in a small plane turned astrip of Interstate 25 into a make-shift landing strip Saturdaymorning.
The small plane merged with all the vehicles on the interstate,after making the emergency landing near mile marker 200 south ofLos Lunas.
It happened around nine a.m. Saturday.
The pilot was the only person onboard, and he was not injured.
State and local police responded to the incident. Theyshutdown the interstate temporarily while the scene wascleared.
