ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Another bear made its way down from the mountains Tuesday and into the metro area.
Tuesday’s bear was spotted in broad daylight around 1 p.m. at a home near Academy and Venture in northeast Albuquerque.
Game and Fish were called to the scene and were able to get the teenage female bear safely down from a tree she had climbed.
Officials say it was the first time they had dealt with this particular bear and that she would be released.
