ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - An 8-month-old baby was one of two people killed in a crash innortheast Albuquerque Sunday evening.
A motorcycle and a four dour sedan crashed just before sevenp.m. at the intersection of Menaul and Ambassador.
Police say the motorcyclist was eastbound on Menaul when hebroadsided the car which was making a left turn on Ambassador.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. He died at thescene.
The driver of the car was not seriously injured. However a babysecured in a car seat in the back seat of the sedan suffered majorinjuries. The child died at UNM Hospital.
Police say speed was a factor in crash.
The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
